Apps Keep Crashing
It is very common, Lollipop problem apparently introduced a memory leak that can cause problems all over the place. Closed apps will pop back into existence in the background, navigating apps can become laggy, and sometimes apps will force close. Restarting your device will get rid of the problem temporarily, some users have seen success after deleting the Google app’s search data. This will delete all your Google search data but worth a shot. To clear Google’s search data, go to Settings > Apps > All > Google > Clear Data.
Wi- Fi connectivity
This isn’t a new thing, every Android update always have wi-fi connectivity Problems. If you’re struggling to connect to networks you used to use with ease, try toggling airplane mode, disconnecting and reconnecting to the network. If you’re getting a bad signal, try restarting your router. Google is actively working to make wifi connectivity issues a thing of the past with Lollipop.
Bluetooth Connectivity
Bluetooth issues are still a big problem for some users on Android Lollipop.There are a few ways to fix Bluetooth problems. If you’re facing issues while pairing with devices, re-pair all of your device relationships from scratch. Remove paired device profiles by going to Settings> Bluetooth > Settings icon > Tap Unpair. Toggle Bluetooth off and then back on to see if that jumpstarts the connection. If that doesn’t work, you’ll want to forget the Bluetooth connection that’s giving you trouble.
Overheating problem
This is a common complaint and one that you can fix. If this happens, you’ll first want to try restarting your phone to see if that helps. Your case might be contributing to the problem too – phones are designed to be case-free, and heavy cases can interfere with heat dissipation. Another solution is boot the device into Safe Mode. Safe Mode will help you spot the rogue application.
Battery Drains Faster
Every new installation of Android firmware results in some battery drain for some users. This is almost always because the update was applied over the top of existing firmware rather than installed ‘clean’. There are a few things that could go wrong when everything is set up one way on your phone.
General poor performance
Sometimes when you install updates upon updates upon updates without ever having a clean install, lots of tiny issues pop up. The result is a poor experience in terms of performance. Try updating all of your apps to make sure they are running in versions compatible with Lollipop. Try deactivating apps and re-activate them one by one.
